Mark Milner
Workshop Supervisor
Mark is our Workshop Supervisor and Technical Specialist.
He's been part of the Atkinson Vos Team since 2011 and has built up a wealth of experience over that time.
As well as being an expert mechanic, Mark is a talented fabricator & welder. If you have a design or something you want to fit to your truck, he will modify, move and adapt the truck to make it work for you.
He also has a great understanding of the UGN & UHN models and their fault diagnosis.
Another aspect of Mark's role at AV is using Solidworks CAD to design everything from small brackets to complete Camper boxes and subframes.
Mark's combination of practical experience, coupled with design skills is really invaluable and Mark has an important role in all of our more complex projects from initial concepts to completion.
Kris Kaniewski
Mechanic & Bodywork Specialist
Krzy is a very experienced mechanic on all kinds of heavy vehicles and started working with us in 2015. His knowledge of trucks makes him our first choice for all kinds of repairs, including crown wheel & pinion upgrades and gearbox repairs and makes him a key part of our team. As a talented metal worker, Krzy carries out a lot of our welding work, including all cab repairs & restorations on older cabs as well as bespoke modifications such as cab extensions, double cab conversions and fitting a higher cab roof. Krzy is renowned for his "special" hammer and love of an angle grinder - we always know where he is. We just follow the noise!
Andy Milner
Mechanic
Andy has been part of the workshop team at Atkinson Vos since 2016. Since that time, his knowledge of Unimogs has grown and his ability to work on a wide range of Unimogs from the old 404 to current U430/530 models, means he can work on anything that graces our workshop! Andy has shown a real flair for repairing gearboxes and is our go-to man when a Unimog comes in with a gearbox fault or customers send us their gearboxes for repair. Andy has completed a TIG welding course and is soon to undertake his HGV driver training. With a great attention to detail and always with the customer at the forefront of his mind, Andy is a great asset to our workshop team.
Dan Hunter
Mechanic
Dan began his career as an apprentice mechanic with AV in 2016. After successfully completing his Level 3 in Land Based Engineering, Dan became a full-time mechanic. Since then, Dan has undertaken lots of on-the-job Unimog specific technical training. Dan is a very competent MIG welder and has undertaken a TIG welding course to bolster his skill set. He recently completed training to allow him to repair and re-gas air conditioning systems which adds another string to his bow. Dan is a real all-rounder who can cope with anything which we throw at him. This includes plenty of insults and occasionally bits of Unimogs!
Vincent Roberts
Apprentice Mechanic
Vincent is one of our apprentice mechanics and has been working with us since 2017.
As well as working on and learning all about Unimogs in our workshop, he is also completing his apprenticeship in HGV Vehicle Repairs and is in his final year.
As part of commitment to developing our team Vincent has completed his Level 1 qualification in MIG welding and is undertaking in-house training on Unimog transmissions.
Always happy to help and with a big cheeky grin on his face, Vincent is fast becoming a valuable member of the AV team!
Joe Jackson
Apprentice Mechanic
Joe is our newest member to the AV workshop.
He is working towards his HGV Vehicle Repairs qualification, and, in the few months he has been with us, his knowledge and enthusiasm for all things Unimog has flourished.
Joe has already learnt how to carry out repairs in major areas of the Unimog including brakes and axles, and can carry out general servicing on all Unimogs.
We look forward to Joe growing as a Unimog mechanic and moving forward with AV!
Sean Sill
Yard Operative
Sean is our driver and you can regularly see him flying up and down the M6, either in a Unimog or delivering or collecting orders to keep Atkinson Vos running! Seans role at Atkinson Vos includes collecting Unimogs from port, delivering Unimogs to customers, collecting orders from suppliers, the delivery of large parts orders and most importantly, the milk run when there's not enough for morning brews! He is also responsible for making sure our premises are nice and tidy for customer visits and that everything is secure when the offices are closed. Happy to jump into any Mog and have a good old chat to any of our customers, Sean is an invaluable member of the AV team!
