New and improved soundproofing cab trim kit fitted
We were recently contacted by our customers Jocke & Caroline.
Jocke and Caroline purchased an ex-German army U1300L with an OM366A engine with the project in mind of turning the vehicle into an Overland camper.
The first phase of the project was to make the truck more comfortable.
They went about ripping the interior out and carried out rust proofing and installation of the Silent Coat sound deadening kit before they installed an AV sound deadening kit.
Since the video attached was created they have now installed Land Rover Discovery cloth seats on their self built seat bases, they refurbished the doors including new plywood door cards and they have redone the ceiling and the hatch using soundproofing and plywood.
Finally Jocke and Caroline have installed electrical components such as phone chargers, reversing cameras and screen, voltmeter, EGT meter and most of this has been documented on their amazing Facebook page
If you would like to keep up to date with their Overland camper build please do visit and like their Facebook page.
If you are also thinking about your own 4x4 truck overland project then please do get in touch with us as we would be more than happy to help with your project
