Here is Toby Kilner with the Unimog U1300L which supported the Skycar on its long trip from London to
Tombouctou and back home again via Senegal. We helped the team prepare for the trip by carrying out a full service and fitted high speed axles. During the trip we sent Toby a few bits and pieces for the Unimog
so it could keep up with the nippy little Skycar.
The Unimog (also known as Miss Wobbly!) completed 19,300k across mixed tarmac, corrugations, desert and rock with only two minor problems! A cracked brake line and a damaged rear light lense! She was driven and looked after very carefully and proved to be an amazingly agile and reliable vehicle
The Parajet Skycar is the first, two seater, high performance, road legal, bio-fuelled flying car; capable of providing rally car performance on and off road, and light aircraft performance after just a few minutes of wing preparation. It really is an amazing machine! To read more about their expedition and the Skycar, visit their website at www.skycarexpedition.com
