Off to Pastures New
Here are another 4 mogs that left our yard last month. In the top left hand corner we have the U1100 and probably the most exciting of all. This U1100 is getting ready to start its long journey to Africa. It will be joining another U1100 in Zambia to help round a safari. The Unimog did start its life as a snow blower in Stansted. We took all the snow equipment off, made it a rear body and shipped it off to Africa with a hefty spare parts package to keep it going. To check out where its headed to, check out the website www.remoteafrica.com
In the top right hand corner is a U1200 which is all ready to be shipped off to Holland to start its new life over there. In the bottom left hand corner is a little U900 that has headed down to Wales as a restoration project for a Unimog enthusiast.
The U900 in the bottom right hand corner is on its way to Kent to spend its days doing some light agricultural work. It will be mainly mowing and towing for its new owner. Before it left our yard, we fitted a rear 3 point linkage, tipper ram and winch and did some minor repairs to keep this 49 year old mog on the go!
