It's a Claas Act for This Unimog
This agricultural spec U1200 Unimog works on a cattle farm near the Scottish Borders and its owner fancied giving it a repaint to match another of his machines - his Claas tractor. We think the mog looks very smart now but it wasn't the most straightforward job as nobody realised there are a multitude of Claas Greys!
With no definite paint code from the owner and no photo of his tractor we did the best we could but unfortunately got it wrong first time! Eventually the paint shop came up with the goods and with this finished product we think the owner might be onto something in creating matching machinery…
Whilst it was here we fully serviced the Unimog, tidied it up where it was rough around the edges and replaced all oils, fluids and filters. This wasn't the first time the mog has been here as it was already fitted with a rear linkage and AV aluminium exhaust stack emblazoned with the word UNIMOG. The mog has also been fitted with an AV intercooler and AV grille with bonnet bulge which gives it a more modern look than the standard bonnet and grille.
