Why not come up the night before?

If you've got a long way to travel to come and see us there are many lovely establishments in the local area for hearty food and comfortable accommodation. An overnight stay in Bentham is a good idea and then you can come and see us with fresh eyes in the morning after a traditional Yorkshire breakfast! Remember that we are not open on Saturdays and Sundays so weekend trips are not advised!

Airport/Train Station pick up

If travelling by public transport we can also come and pick visitors up from an airport if they have flown in from aborad or from a local train station. The nearest airports are Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Liverpool (all an hour and a half away). There is a train station in Bentham which can be seen on the map above but trains here can be infrequent so we recommend travelling to Lancaster (especially if you've come from the south). Lancaster is only 2.5 hours from London on the high speed Virgin trains.

Directions
Take junction 34 off the M6 and head east along the A683 towars Kirkby Lonsdale. After Caton but before Hornby, turn right on to the B6480 following signposts through Wray to High Bentham. Drive through Bentham along the Main Street until you see the HSBC bank on your right and The Black Bull pub on the corner. Turn right here down Station Road. Go down the hill and over the railway bridge then turn right once again into Wenning Avenue and you'll find us 300 yards on the right.
