Customers have frequently asked us to increase the road speed of their Unimogs or to reduce revs at a given road speed.

The gearbox in the photo fits on the back of the engine and gives increased top speed or reduced engine revs at a given speed. The ratio is 20%. Please note however that these can only be fitted on Unimogs without the PTO box which is at the back of the engine

We have excellent feedback on these units, namely improved top speed, fuel economy and reduced noise level. The unit works on all gears so adds a 'half gear' between each gear, ideal for towing applications.

Fitting is fairly straight forward and depending on access to the individual Unimog can be done within 2 days
